Sources

We use official Microsoft (Xbox Wire) and Sony (PlayStation Blog) announcements as primary sources. Supplementary metadata (covers, platforms) may come from RAWG and Microsoft Store lookups when configured.

What we extract (and do not republish)

Our pipeline reads public RSS feeds and announcement pages to extract structured catalog facts — game titles, service tiers, addition/removal dates, and links to the original post. We do not republish full news articles, press-release body text, or third-party media reviews. For full context, each timeline entry links to the official source when available.

Confirmation standard

Only events marked confirmed from official posts are exported to the public site. Unverified parser results stay in an internal review queue until approved. Rumors and unconfirmed leaks are not published.

Page copy and accuracy

Game page intros, FAQs, and meta descriptions on this site are generated from structured catalog data using rule-based templates — not copied from news articles. Wording uses hedged language (e.g. "scheduled to leave", "listed in our catalog") because our export is not a live Microsoft or Sony feed. Dates and status can change when publishers update their catalogs.

An optional local AI step in our pipeline may draft FAQ text for internal review; the public site uses the rule-based copy above so answers stay tied to recorded facts.

Images and video

Cover art is sourced from RAWG.io and/or Microsoft Store metadata during our build pipeline, not scraped from Xbox Wire or PlayStation Blog article images. Trailers are embedded from YouTube when available. Game names and logos remain trademarks of their respective owners.

Corrections

If official sources contradict our data, we update records and rebuild the site at the next scheduled pipeline run. Material errors can be reported via the contact method listed on our About page.

Member discounts

References to Game Pass member discounts (e.g. up to 20% off) describe a common Microsoft policy for some titles leaving the catalog. Actual savings vary by game, platform, and region — always confirm pricing on the Microsoft Store before purchase. We do not guarantee any specific discount.
